Subject: Monday Night Football moves to ESPN in 2006

Written By: Sick of Britney on 04/19/05 at 8:05 pm

Though I don't care for football, I can't believe this hasn't been yet brought up.  :)

...and Sunday Night Football will be on the network (I'm not sure of which...)

NBC will be getting the NFL back for the fist time since Super Bowl 32 (Denver 31 Green Bay 24)  ;)  I knew it was only a matter of time...be forwarned. I predict that they will eventually make the Super Bowl a Pay-Per-View experience as well ::) >:(

And let's hope ABC is out of the Super Bowl loop too. It wouldn't make very much sense for the network to still be able to telecast it.  And is NBC going to jettison Arena football, I hope?

And I did like the Firebirds before they folded. Now I don't really care about it anymore. (But I do like those San Jose Saber Cats cheerleading costumes. ;))

I highly doubt it, the popularity of Arena football countinues to grow so I do not see NBC doing that.

I could care less if the Super Bowl is on regular TV or PPV..  The only time I'd be interested in watching the superbowl is if Dallas is playing, which unfortunately isn't very often anymore.

I haven't watched the Super Bowl in years. :(

I always respected Tom Landry as a great coach but I was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan in the 70's. Denver wasn't involved in much success before the arrival of John Elway in 1983. I also could never stand Dallas back in the 70's...with "Hollywood" Henderson talking all that crap and Cliff Harris' constant whining ::) I liked Troy Aikmen but never liked the "Drug Boys" around him. Michael Irvin got away with beating and raping women as well. Sorry, had to vent somewhere ::)
