What is the story here? He gets canned with Shaq on Kobys say so, now he is back. Wonder how much
it cost the Lakers? It seems that it must have cost Phil a certain amount of pride unless of course the contract lets him put it to Koby whenever the crybaby opens his mouth.

When Shaq was asked what he thought of Kobe on the news/sports, he said "I'm sorry, I do not know that name"..."I have a lot of names floatin' in my head but do not know that one' ??? ??? ??? ???

It will be interesting to see if Phil can actually succeed with Kobe. He may have a bit of "Jordanesque" talent but I don't see Kobe EVER becoming the team player that MJ was. IMHO the Lakers got rid of the wrong guy :-\\
