I will have to go with France on this one. Probably a closer game than in '98 though.

Well..
What Zizzou did wasn't excusable. BUT! I want to know what Materazzi said to him.
Zidane has been level headed and calm almost his entire career. For him to end it like that throws up a lot of questions for me.
"Your mother fuc.ked the eighth army!" is my guess.

Yeah...indirectly, he may have lost his country the shot at the Cup. But Italy deserved to win, they played extremely well, and France didn't look like they were in a rhythm until way late...oh well.

Italy were the better team.. actually I'll take this opportunity to say they impressed me throughout the tournament. But alas.. I was wanting a win for France. Personal alleigance and all that.

My team was Poland and they failed to qualify ages ago.
