Any fans at all ?

Do you follow it on the TV or actually compete in local venues ?

I love holdem poker and will eventually be a final table player one day.

Any other mad poker fans ?

The strange thing of it all is, Poker is a feature on SkySports, of which I never watch it.

my wife & a few of our friends hold regular games about once every 5 weeks or so. we stick to Texas Hold Em, & have anywhere from 4-7 regular friends that play. we play 2 games a night, about 3 hours per game with a $10 buy in & we do a bonus pot ($2.50 per player per game) that goes to the player that wins with a 4 of a kind. I got 4 Kings Saturday night & won the bonus. I got Poker Superstars II & World Series Of Poker 2008 for my computer last Christmas.  we watch it on tv all the time. My 2 best friends & I entered a 47 person tournament last year in April 2007 at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas. I finished in 11th place, but no money. Last week, we played a 50 person tournament for a fundraiser. it was run really well & they had pro dealers from the Casino San Pablo there. I finished 20th out of 50, still no money. I was getting crappy cards. it sucked. here's a pic from 1 week ago.

When I was about 10 my father taught me how to play.  I got real good at it and started winning so he stopped teaching because my mother was afraid I liked it too much and figured I might get hooked.  She was probably right, I haven't really played since.

According to many sports channels, Poker is considered a sport ::)

I do watch NBC Poker After Dark, only because I like that new host Marianella (and former host Shana Hyatt) and sometimes player Vanessa Rousso :-*

I watch it on a few channels every now and then, mostly Texas Hold 'em. I haven't seen a lot of the other games like 7 card stud, Omaha and H.O.R.S.E.

I'm just waiting for the day someone slaps Phil Helmuth on live TV. And the last time I saw Daniel Negreanu play, I swear he could see what the table cam was showing everyone at home.

Is there a qualified female croupier and that often works at an excluslive club where gamblers pay top money to pay roulette all day and poker all night.

I LOVE poker. As a teen, I used to play with my parents and now I play with my husband (one of those things that we just discovered that we both love). We usually get with "the guys" to play once in a while. We usually play dealer's choice-5 or 7 card. We don't usually play Texas Hold 'Em unless Carlos' son is around because he likes to play that. When we go to visit his sister and father, it is mandatory that we play almost every night. The problem with his father is that he is a sore loser AND a sore winner-and he wins a lot.

We usually play for "HIGH" stakes-max bet is 5 cents.  ;D ;D ;D  We do play with a bunch of college professors and we really don't want to break them.  :D  I was just saying to Carlos the other day that it is time to set up a game.

Negreanu is such a hothead.  It does seem like he always knows everyone's hand.  From the looks of him, he probably knows his own hand a little too well ;D

I used to play a lot of Hold Em and Omaha Hi/Lo online. But I stopped playing online since someone got busted cheating on Absolute.

I play in a weekly $30 buy in tourny here in Montreal. There are usually anywhere from 30 to 40 players that show up, so the pot is usually pretty decent.  I've been playing every week for almost a year and last week was the first week that I didn't make the final table. But I've only finished in the money once. :-\\ I just can't seem to close.

I also play in a monthly tournament with the guys from work. But I've only played with them once.
