Georgia could very well be the best team in the country, but there schedule could also be the hardest in the country. They have to play Arizona State, South Carolina, Tennessee, LSU, Alabama, Florida, and Auburn all within the the span of a few weeks. :o

Because of that, my money would go on USC and Ohio State playing for the national title. Yeah, they play each other in September, but there respective conferences are both so weak it's possible that the loser of the game could go undefeated the rest of the year and still play in the BCS Championship.

I'm new here and sorry if this has already been discussed, but I want to propose a question?

Is anyone on this board in favor of collegiate football going from the bowl series to a tournament series?  I myself would much rather see the preseason cut by about 1/4 and then have each of the conference champions out of each conference qualify for a tournament inwhich the top 8 teams would play.  There would be a quarter finals, semi finals and finals game.  I'd much rather see that than the bowl series we have now, but that might just be me.

I am so freaking sick of USC and this Pete Carroll led piece of crap team. Everyone buys into the
hype of these clowns so any team that has to go there and play has to play against the guys in
stripes as well. ugh! they make me sick.... :P

I never thought I'd take part in this thread...but while watching ESPN earlier today, I happened to come across a rather dismal score on the bottomline: BYU 59, UCLA goose-egg. ::)
