Very sad to see the death of Surrey and Gloucestershire all-rounder David Thomas, who has passed away as a result of multiple sclerosis at the age of 53. Unfortunately, due to the fact that his career coincided with that of Ian Botham, he never saw the opportunity for a place in the England team.
