Subject: IT'S A BOY!!!!!

Charlie's son & his soon-to-be wife gave birth to a son-Samuel Charles. We don't have any details yet in terms of how big, etc. Mother & baby are doing fine. We are going up there tomorrow to meet grandson #1 & grandkid #5.

Thanks all. 6 lbs & 18 inches. A little bundle of joy. I already have a fishing pole for him. (and 1 for each of the girls too).

Last night while watching t.v. Carlos came back into the living room and stood there at the doorway. He started doing a little jig and singing, "I've got a grandson, I've got a grandson."

What I thought was SOOOOO cool was my wonderful step-son who I know is going to be an OUTSTANDING father (just like his father before him ;) ). He took the baby and went around the room. He came up to me and said to him, "This is your Grandma 'Cat'". He went up to Charlie and said, "This is your Papa Charlie." It was so sweet that he introduced his son to everyone who was there.
