Subject: The NON One Hit Wonders thread

Some of those I knew darn well were NOT O.H.W's...contrary to what many people seem to believe.

Men Without Hats, I know had at least two hits in the U.S. (and probably their native homeland of Canada...maybe WD can help us out here).
In the US, two big hits they had were "Safety Dance" (1982) and "Pop Goes The World" (1987).

Yup, seriously. The Doruschuk brothers went to the same High school I did, albeit they were at least 1 or two grades above me, and they certainly don't even know I ever existed. There might have been a 3rd member who attended the same high school as myself, but can't confirm.

Hey Whistledog, what can you tell me about Eddy Rosemond? I heard him on an internet radio station and when I looked him up he had a few hits from 1979-1983. Would you happen to have the chart hits for those years?

One other artist that seems to be known primarily for one song but clearly had several hits...Kim Carnes

1979: "It Hurts So Bad" (US #56)
1980: "More Love" (US Hot100 #10) (US AC #46) (AUS #46) (cover of a Smokey Robinson hit)
1980: "Cry Like A Baby" (US #44)
1981: "Bette Davis Eyes" (US Hot100 #1) (US AC #15) (AUS #1) (NL #17) (UK #10)
1981: "Draw Of The Cards" (US #28) (AUS #64) (UK #49)

1982: "Does It Make You Remember" (US #36)
1983: "Invisible Hands" (US #40)

This is only a small handful of them. Wikpedia lists them all here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Carnes_discography#As_lead_artist

I have not ever heard of him, but I can tell you that he never charted in the US Hot 100, UK Top 100 or the Canadian 100 Singles chart.  I did find a Billboard book that lists his 1981 single 'Wake Up and Move' was a Top 5 hit in Spain
I can only assume he had some hits in (what was then known as) the US Disco chart, which I do not have access to.

I don't think others never heard of him either but I heard him on an internet radio station and wanted to look him up.The only disco hit was 1981 with his song "Algo Bueno".
