Like the title says. I also want to thank the people who responded to my New Year's thread.

We have 'Erntedankfest' which has got a similar meaning, but it's earlier and has not such a big tradition like in the USA.

I'm working Thanksgiving. Apparently, football doesn't take a holiday.

I will likely spend a great deal of tomorrow baking pies. Then, tomorrow, I am going to be the one preparing the feast if my sister decides not to come.

Yes

We are doing the usual.  The family gets together at my aunt's house.  It is fun.

Well, this Thanksgiving has been changed three times already.  First I was supposed to go to my parents, but Mom said she rather me come down closer to Christmas so we can exchange gifts (I guess).  So alright, we made plans with my hubby's uncle's houseguest, she invited us to dinner (she's a good cook.) But we were unsure of whether to go or not because hubby doesn't get along with his mother (who may or may not be there  :-\\ )  This afternoon the houseguest told me that she decided not to have a dinner here and wanted to go with her cousin to their grandmother's house in another part of the state.  No problem really because we'd rather avoid hubby's mom anyway.  So now I am giving a couple friends of ours a ride to a restaurant to eat (since the friend doesn't drive and his elderly mom is somewhat sick and can't walk to the bus stop.)  Then hubby and I are going to Denny's.  Works for me.  :)
