Favourite and Sacha Baron Cohen Movie do not belong in the same sentence. But if there was a gun to my head forcing me to pick a favourite, it would have to be Talladega Nights. The only movie I could stomach him in, and I didn't even like that movie

Sacha Baron Cohen is one of those people that I just plain can't understand the appeal. He isn't funny to me at all-very contrived and self conscious which kills any humor I might find.
Seems to me he is best used as a supporting actor without a whole lot of screen time; a (very) little of him goes a looooooooong way.

Reminds me of the reactions people had to Andy Kaufman. People either loved him or they hated him. Not much in between

I think SBC is hilarious but I can see how he isn't everyone's cup of tea. Some of the sexual scenes in Bruno were pretty cringeworthy even for someone like me who isn't easily grossed out.

Don't really care about SBC. However, I'm interested to see how he does as Freddie Mercury in that planned biopic coming out in a few years.

I'm a Freddie fan and I think it's fair to to say there is kindred spirit between FM and SBC. I think he'll do a splendid job.
