As in artists with truly impressive vocals like Whitney, Mariah, and Celine? These days its all about catchy beat and the image. I can't really think of too many recent pop songs with "glory notes".

There still are "big voices". You just can't find them easily if you keep sticking your head in the mainstream crap.

I agree and when was the last time you heard the recording industry with someone having "deep voices"? ???
