Subject: Final Performances

Written By: Howard on 01/21/13 at 7:47 pm

Have you ever wondered about a singer or actor/actress's final shows before they passed away not even thinking they would be dead within a certain amount of time in weeks or months? What shows or concerts or whatever you have seen that has been that person's last goodbye? Here is a small clip of Elvis Presley's last concert June 26th,1977 and little did fans know that his demise was a month and a half later.

I went with a friend to see Roy Orbison...a week later he was dead.  I went with the same friend to see Clifton Chenier...a week later he was dead.  We decided we wouldn't go to any more concerts together.

That's actually not Michael's last performance. His last day was June 24th. Thriller, and Earth Song, with him in the black puffer coat in TII are his last day. Which is why I don't watch those performances when I watch my TII DVD.

This was shot by Denis Martel of the High Rollers just the day before Kenny MacLean passed away.  And contrary to popular musical urban legend Kenny DID NOT die from a drug overdose.  Kenny suffered from a weak heart and had a fatal heart attack in the early morning hours of November 22, 2008 when Chris Stefler and Kenny's sister couldn't get in touch with him.  Pamela, Kenny's sister,  asked her brother's landlord to let her into his apartment and she found him on his bathroom floor clutching a toothbrush in his hand and leaving his bathroom tap running.
Mark Holmes was just absolutely devastated when Kenny died.  Mark was so devastated that he wouldn't go in to record the new material.  Rob Laidlaw practically had to take a stick of dynamite and put it under Mark's derriere just to get him into the recording studio.
"I booked some time in the studio NO EXCUSES!"
