We had some items from Japanese exchange students turned into lost and found (abt two yrs ago).  One was some kind of fancy MP3 player or something. I still haven't seen it releas here but damn it was awesome.

Wish I could've. The whole thing was set up in Japanese not like I could really follow the onscreen Instructions if  I had kept it.  ;D

The way Japanese technology goes these days, that thing you saw two years ago is probably outdated now lol

Just various styles of the ones that play tapes.  I do have 2 Sony Discmans that are mp3 CD-R compatible plus 2 of the mp3 players that Sony branded Walkmans

that's crazy.... I heard on the radio today that cassette tapes are making a big comback (apparently) maybe your walkmans will be worth $ or museum pieces in a couple more years.  :D

Got a good reference for sites that tell you how to spec out replacement belts?  Took mine apart once 20 years ago to replace a failed belt, and it held up until I retired it some 15-20 years ago, but I'm damned if I know where to start looking for parts these days.

I don't know how well that would sell in North America.  They've tried video gaming with glasses before, and it never lasted long ...

Sega Master System 3D Glasses
Nintendo Virtual Boy

And there was one in the 90s that was just the glasses with a hand held controller, but I don't remember what it was called
