I have not listened to nearly enough songs from past decades to make such a list, but I'll just say it's good to see another Avril fan even if it's only her early stuff :D

You guys are actually able to name your top 10 songs of each decade?! I know way too many songs from each decade for that, and I'm an extremely indecisive person. I'll just name ten random favorites of mine in no order from each decade. I'll make the list before I read any of yours so it doesn't influence the ones I choose.

1930s

Stardust - Bing Crosby
Begin the Beguine - Artie Shaw
Take the A Train - Duke Ellington
We'll Meet Again - Vera Lynn
Moonlight Serenade - Glenn Miller
Frenesi - Artie Shaw
Moonglow - Benny Goodman
Easy Living - Billie Holiday
If I Didn't Care - The Ink Spots
I'm in the Market For You - Louis Armstrong

1940s

Sweet Lorraine - Nat King Cole
Tenderly - Sarah Vaughan
Oh! What It Seemed To Be - Frankie Carle and Marjorie Hughes
You Can Depend On Me - Capitol International Jazzmen
Don't Fence Me In - Bing Crosby and The Andrews Sisters
Sentimental Journey - Les Brown and Doris Day
Happy Times - Bob Crosby and the Bobcats
Nature Boy - Nat King Cole
In the Mood - Glenn Miller
Personality - Johnny Mercer and The Pied Pipers

1950s

Beyond the Sea - Bobby Darin
Too Young - Nat King Cole (this is my favorite singer of all time, so there's a lot from him)
A Kiss to Build a Dream On - Louis Armstrong
Side by Side - Kay Starr
My Funny Valentine - Ella Fitzgerald
Young at Heart - Frank Sinatra
Sleepwalk - Santo & Johnny
Stormy Weather - Lena Horne
Mr Sandman - The Chordettes
Smile - Nat King Cole

1960s

God Only Knows - The Beach Boys
Eleanor Rigby - The Beatles
My Favorite Things - John Coltrane
Last Kiss - J. Frank Wilson & The Cavaliers (You may know the Pearl Jam version)
Fly Me To The Moon - Frank Sinatra
Telstar - The Tornadoes
Ramblin' Rose - Nat King Cole
Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head - Burt Bacharach & BJ Thomas
King of the Road - Dean Martin
You Don't Know - Helen Shapiro

1970s

Sir Duke - Stevie Wonder
Mr. Blue Sky - Electric Light Orchestra
Tiny Dancer - Elton John
Theme from New York, New York - Frank Sinatra
Living for the City - Stevie Wonder
Three Little Birds - Bob Marley
Don't Stop Me Now - Queen
Rich Girl - Hall & Oates
Cold as Ice - Foreigner
Rock With You - Michael Jackson

1980s (my least listened decade, but I still like a lot from the 80s)

Just the Two of Us - Grover Washington Jr. and Bill Withers
The Longest Time - Billy Joel
Overjoyed - Stevie Wonder
Never Gonna Give You Up - Rick Astley (no joke ;D)
Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) - Eurythmics
It's Tricky - Run DMC
Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper
Go Your Own Way - Fleetwood Mac
Me, Myself and I - De La Soul

1990s

Ex-Factor - Lauryn Hill (another favorite, but I'll restrict it to one song or else she'd be the majority of this decade)
On Bended Knee - Boyz II Men
I Believe I Can Fly - R. Kelly
Killing Me Softly (With His Song) - The Fugees (kind of cheating with the Lauryn Hill thing by choosing a Fugees song :P)
Kiss From a Rose - Seal
If I Ever Fall In Love - Shai
Creep - TLC
Zombie - The Cranberries
You Make Me Wanna - Usher
One In a Million - Aaliyah

2000s

Fallin' - Alicia Keys
My Immortal - Evanescence
Cry Me a River - Justin Timberlake
45 - Shinedown
Do You - Ne-Yo
Take a Bow - Rihanna
Digital Love  - Daft Punk
Confessions Pt. 2 - Usher
American Boy - Estelle and Kanye West
This Love - Maroon 5 (they have terrible stuff in the 2010s though)

2010s (You guys might hate me for some of my choices here)

Self Control - Frank Ocean
Oui - Jeremih
Instant Crush - Daft Punk
Fine China - Chris Brown (I don't like him, but he has some good music imo)
Love On Top - Beyoncé (Beyoncé is usually hit or miss for me, this was a hit)
Take Me to Church - Hozier
Spaceship Coupe - Justin Timberlake
Love On the Brain - Rihanna
Adorn - Miguel
I'm Not the Only One - Sam Smith (Sam Smith was my favorite radio 2010s singer for a good year or so, now it's The Weeknd)

I would've added a Weeknd song, but couldn't decide which one to add. That was really tough to choose only ten songs for each decade, I wanted to add so much more. :(
