Subject: My summer play list project for my son

Written By: ChuckyG on 04/29/16 at 11:03 am

This summer, to increase Neal's music background, he's getting the coolest chore for his allowance money.  In addition to normal stuff (making his bed, typing tutor) he's going to be listening (and writing small reviews) for five songs, five times a week.  I'm going to let him pick the songs for the first week, the rest of the weeks it's up to me to provide him with play lists.

Playlist #001 I'm still trying to figure out a fifth song for... recommendations welcome

Johnny Cash, "Ring of Fire"
Wall of Voodoo, "Ring of Fire"
Nine Inch Nails, "Hurt"
Johnny Cash, "Hurt"

since the two titles read out, "Ring of Fire, Hurt"  I figured "Soothe Me" would be the right followup.

I ended up changing my mind... and went with Bruce Springsteen, "Cover Me" since the other songs were all covers.

I made up a bunch of playlists yesterday while waiting on people.

this one features songs with something in common.  I wonder if people can guess what it is

Blondie - Rapture
Bob Dylan - Subterranean Homesick Blues
Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road
David Bowie - Space Oddity
Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower
