I'll rather stick with the 90s, since they at least have stuff from the 80s. It's also the least further decade from the 2000s.

As much as I love the culture of the 1920s to the 1950s, I would choose the 1990s, because I use electronics so much, and I'd simply want to be as close to the present as possible. Also, the Great Depression in the 30s, and WWII for the first half of the 40s are big reasons not to go to those decades. The Roaring Twenties are too far in the past for me to stay there, and the 50s as well even if they were both good decades (you had Cold War and the Korean War in the 50s though).

If this were a question asking if I'd go somewhere for a day, I'd say 1946. I feel like it'd be a pretty hopeful and jubilant year with WW2 ending the year before, and I'd love to experience the culture.

I was also gonna choose the 80s, but it wasn't on the list.

If a time machine broke and I was stuck in a certain time period, I would vote for the 90s. I have always been fond of the 90s, particularly the period between 1991-1996. The earliest time period I would travel back to, if I could visit for a short period of time and then return to the present time, would be the Late 60s and 70s. 1966 would be the earliest year I would ever travel back to.

The 1920s. Les années folles! Sounded like a crazy time to be alive.

You left out the 80's!

If I had to choose, I'd either choose the 80's or 90's. I'd probably start off at 1982 and live through both decades chronologically.

The 1980s have now been added to the poll.
