Which era of this famed British Invasion band do you prefer?

60s...

...or 70s?

I'd usually say 70s, but right now I'm in the mood for 60s. You can't beat famous singles like I Can't Explain, Magic Bus, My Generation, The Kids are Alright, I Can See for Miles, A Quick One, Summertime Blues, and others.

The two eras are as equal as each other, with 1978 being a very sad year.

You mean 1978, that's when Keith died. :\'(

I'm not sure if the Who did anything notable in 1977, other than filming the Quadrophenia and Kids Are Alright movies.

Incidentally, it was today (January 28th) in 1965 when The Who made their first appearance on UK TV show Ready Steady Go! To project the desired image, the hand-picked audience consisted only of teens dressed in the current Mod fashion.

I'm surprised so many people voted 60s, I was expecting 70s to win.
