Subject: Songs you used to hate but now don't mind/like/LOVE

For me it will be "Work" by Rihanna which I used to hate when it came out 2 years ago, but now everytime it comes in a mall or so, all I want to do is to:

There was a similar thread, but it was from a long time ago:

I hated this song when I first heard it - I thought it sounded really bizarre.  But after three or four hearings I started to "get it", and I still love it today.

"Return To Innocence" by Enigma. When it was a hit in early 1994 the chants used to turn me off... but a few years later I decided to listen to it in full, and found there was more to it than just the chants. That said, I started to like it.

There are also various songs by artists with raspy vocals that I used to not tolerate at all, but now such vocals do not bother me for the most part.

I think for me I used to love loads of songs as a kid/young teen - then shun them because I got into more varied and eclectic tastes, but now I'm more than comfortable just singing along to all of those guilty pleasures. THere are some of those and some others that I grew to like:

No Mercy - Where do you Go (I realise it's terrible but it takes me back to 1997 in a flash!)
OMC - How Bizzare
Smoke City - Underwater Love
Rialto - Monday Morning 5:19
Kelly Marie - Feels Like I'm In Love
Queen - Killer Queen (prob my fave Queen track now...)
R Kelly - Ignition (I used to despise this song and I know he is a vile person, but the song is a tune :S)
50 Cent - In Da Club
Carly Simon - Why
Gin Blossoms - Hey Jealousy
Gwen Guthrie - Aint Nothin Going On But The Rent

I will NEVER like this song. I mean, I like it a little. But If any of you care to listen you'll know why. The guy yells too much at the end.  :o
