Subject: Trends and Geography

Written By: jakepaulthebigman on 05/26/20 at 6:05 pm

Guys, how long do trends take to reach other countries? For example, grunge and flannel as we all know, peaked around 1993-1994. What about for other countries and regions in America? Say, the Far East, the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, Mexico, Oceania etc. Or in America, our very own midwest?

The floodgates of the British Invasion were opened in this country the moment the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in February, 1964. But many of the bands (Beatles, Hollies, etc) had already been having hits in England for at least a year or two before then.
