So you get to see Wheel and then Jeopardy where you are? In Los Angeles they air on ABC-7 the other way around. In tonight's Jeopardy episode I was stunned at how slow they played the Double Jeopardy round.

I liked the numbers or Math category (can't recall the exact name ) I answered those almost before the question ended. There were some mistakes there as well by the contestants. I think Ken Jennings would have slaughtered them.

There was a similar category in the Single Jeopardy round, only it dealt with real literary stories, by famous authors. I'm not too good at those categories.

I don't often get the Final Jeopardy questions either...unless they deal with a subject that I am quite knowledgeable about. That's why I don't think I'd ever make it on the show.


Last thing I watched: an episode of "Family Feud" from the Richard Dawson era, on GSN. The first question was "Name an item you'd keep near you while watching television." The first thing that came to my mind was remote control, but that was not the #1 answer. TV Guide was. Of course, this was probably from 30 years or so ago, and times have changed since then. If that question were being asked in 2010, remote control would undoubtedly be #1.

I don't understand why on the bonus round on Wheel, 9 out of 10 contestants seem to pick the letters C, D, and M in some order. Most of the time those letters aren't very helpful. But tonight the C and D were helpful because they were in the puzzle. The contestant didn't pick the right vowel this time, either. If only he'd said "O" instead of "A", and if he'd turned the "M" upsidown, he might've had it! It was CHOW DOWN, which I probably would've gotten on the buzzer.
