Hello! I am looking specifically for the song The Christmas Tree That Ran Away - it is also a family favorite for us - I grew up listening to that song every year. Anyone even know the complete lyrics to the song??? I can't believe how hard it is to find this song anywhere - I'm getting frustrated! Thanks and Merry Christmas!!! :)

i can't believe this is the same "I want an Elephant for Christmas" that we listen to forever.  My sister and I love this song we sing it every year to everyone (they all think we are crazy).  My sister is in the Military and due go overseas. If there is anyway to get a copy of this record please let me know so I get her a copy before she goes. Please and if you have the song "The Day Before The Night Before Christmas" I am interested in that too. If i have a choice i would love to have it on CD. Thank You,

Oh, my god this is the closest I have came to finding someone who remembers this album! It was my childhood favorite christmas album too! I had it and I played to death!!!! Someone please help me find this album again...I will pay almost anything for this one! I would love to have the actual album again as well as a cd copy of it! Can you help me wtih this too! I have been looking for this album for what seems like forever now. Can anybody tell me how I can get a copy of it? I used to listen to it with my grandparents on an old record player and would like my son to enjoy it as I did. Up until this point, I think my wife has started to doubt that this album ever existed. My sisters and I have also been looking for this album (CD) for years. We can sing practically every sone by heart and do so every Christmas. Our husbands think we are crazy. Wow! Other people owned this record??? :) lol. ;D We memorized all the songs too, did skits to them, etc. I wish we could find it on CD. I think my parents might have kept the old LP.

I, too, remember this album from my youth. My brother and I, too, used to do skits to the songs, and I have many of those lyrics stuck in my brain. Thank you for helping point me toward this album.

does this song go "I want an elephant for xmas just like the one down at the zoo. a real live elephant for my very own o what wonderful things we could do" If so I would love to buy this. I sang it as a child and everyone thinks I am crazy that this isnt a song.

i have found my album that i had since i was a child, but i don't know how to convert it to a disc. if you know how i could possible help some of you out. it was like stepping into a time machine when i pulled it out.

Thank you SO much for providing this! I was just reminiscing with my sister about this great album and how now that we had kids of our own we'd love for them to have as much fun with is as we did singing, dancing and making skits to each and every song.
I downloaded it, started listening and broke out into tears! I know it is goofy, but it just reminded me of some absolutely wonderful holidays as a child and I can't wait for my kids to get hooked as well.
