Are these recorded off the air? Do they include the commercials?

Hmmm...tell me more about this "Monster Mash" tape! Don't think I've heard of it, sounds quite interesting.
Other question: Nothing I currently have includes any commercials, and almost all were gotten from non-tv sources.
