Well this morning, there was an armed suspect at a local Wal-Mart (in Simi Valley, near where my mom goes to work); the guy had a gun and had apparently shot himself, so I watched the first ten minutes of the newscast to see if I could find out any additional information about the situation.

I first remember watching it in November of 1987 right after I had my tonsils out. In those days, there were lots of TV game shows on in the morning; I would usually not get to see them except for the summer or when I had holidays off, since I was in school. When I went to my grandma's house, we would watch game shows together; I found them lots of fun. And "The Price Is Right" is the only game show that seems to have survived up to this day.

I've thought of going on that show, since I know how to play every pricing game...every time someone comes on the show and tells Bob they don't know how to play a certain game, I sometimes find myself yelling at the tv. The Clock Game, the 10 Chances game, and the Check Game are some of the games that have been around for the longest time!

But the last thing I saw on TV was an episode of "Fresh Prince", the one where Will has to study for a chemistry exam but procrastinates...when he finally gets down to it, there's one distraction/hindrance/obstacle after another.

The start of the England v Australia ODI.

The US Formula 1 race on the Indy track. It s*cked! There were only 6 (six) cars on the starting grid, and they all finished (thank goodness).

What was this all about? Something to do with having the wrong (unreliable) tyres (Michelin), so 14 cars (7 teams) didn't start at all! The other 6 cars (3 teams) were using Bridgestone tyres, so they could drive - and did just that.
What an exciting race it was! Gee, I wonder who's going to win? Will it be a Ferrari or a Ferrari? Or maybe a Jordan or a Jordan? Nah, not a chance! O wait - there's also two Minardi's on the track.... Well, at least they got some points for finishing 5th and 6th. (I should be happy: a 5th place for Dutchman Christijan Albers - may very well be his only points this season).

But this wasn't a race of course - it was a BLAMAGE!

Well the last thing I "SAW" on tv today was the Rockies loss to the O's :-\\

The Dodgers-White Sox game on ESPN. The Dodgers were leading 3-zip in the 5th inning...I sure hope they preserve their lead. :)

No such luck...the Sox ended up winning it, 4-3, because Duaner Sanchez couldn't hold the lead. (I would have posted this last night before I went to bed...but I didn't feel like turning the computer back on.

Oh God, I hate that show. I don't, and never did, like shows that try to interact with you.. I always liked watching, not having to.. you know, talk to the show.  ;D

Dude, there was this weird cartoon on Nickelodeon, that Vaughn was watching. There was this protest against meat, and all of a sudden the big blob of meat started attacking everyone and throwing chicken legs and whatnot, at the kids. It was actually oddly entertaining.
