I'm starting to feel angry at myself again... I think it happens when I'm alone.

Robin thinks she may have to break off this relationship.She had called me yesterday and told me her parents are yelling at her every day because Robin's parents are saying to her"Why are you still going out with this 30 year old man,he still doesn't have a job,he lives off SSI(government checks)& volunteers and hasn't had a decent job in 12 years".Why all of a sudden are they're blaming me for? I didn't do anything wrong. :( I've been struggling hard for about 12 years.I wound up being fired from Genovese and then was told to be put on SSI in 1995 cause Howard desperately needs money so My Mother did so and after 1995 I volunteered for the remaining of the 1990's.I've also struggled to go from program to program and getting cheesy checks from this 1 program I went to in Manhattan and had lasted 4 years there but I felt very uncomfortable because of the surroundings and left in October of 2003 so anyway,I'm gonna be meeting Robin's parents for lunch or dinner on Sunday,I don't what they're gonna say but most likely they're gonna grill me with questions and I'm not looking forward to it but who knows they might be nice people after all.They don't know the struggle I've been through so they can't judge me.Robin and her parents have me in a nutshell.I need to do this,Howard needs to do that.Well,If we weren't meant to be together,so be it.I wish her all the very best of luck in finding a high maintainence guy who has money and a full time job and that can support her and take care of her as well cause I'm not that guy for Robin.simple as that.  >:(
I wish I won the lottery and have a bunch of money fall from the sky but I have to take life at a slow pace and see what happens. :)

Actually it sounds like she does.  To me, it sounds like all of the things that she's saying to you is not from her heart but what she hears from her parents at home.  She may still be easily swayed by what it is they think and say and not in a position to tell them to sit down, shut up and let her live her life the way she needs to.  As long as she feels obligated to do what they want, and not what she wants, then she will continue to "nag" you to do the things that will make her parents happy and proud to call you their daughter's boyfriend. 

All of this is in my own humble opinion of course!  :)

Finally got some time to get on the board!  This is great :)

Hi Everybody. :) Just got back a couple of hours ago from a very pleasant experience with Robin's Mother & Father.I kinda thought I would be in for a grilling but I guess I was wrong about that.They did question me at first but in a nice way.I got to be open and very talkative about my work experience, hobbies,family and my health(OCD)and they didn't mind at all because her parents were very nice about it.For lunch,They made bagels,lox,cream cheese,regular cheeses,herring,onions,tomatoes,tuna & egg salad so you can tell that you have a family who's very jewish.After lunch,Robin And I went to Target & Walmart and I bought a pair of sneakers for myself.all in all,I had a good time,no problems whatsoever. :) I just don't know why I was so paranoid for ;D maybe it was just me but anyway now that I know where the house is,she invited me over next Sunday to possibly watch a movie or 2 and maybe lunch or dinner.from what I've seen from the past 6 months that we've seen each other and she feels very comfortable with me,you could say now she is my new found GIRLFRIEND and proud of it.I love her so much.I'm just overjoyed about today.next week should be even better.I hope so. :)

Hi Everybody. :) Just got back a couple of hours ago from a very pleasant experience with Robin's Mother & Father.I kinda thought I would be in for a grilling but I guess I was wrong about that.They did question me at first but in a nice way.I got to be open and very talkative about my work experience, hobbies,family and my health(OCD)and they didn't mind at all because her parents were very nice about it.For lunch,They made bagels,lox,cream cheese,regular cheeses,herring,onions,tomatoes,tuna & egg salad so you can tell that you have a family who's very jewish.After lunch,Robin And I went to Target & Walmart and I bought a pair of sneakers for myself.all in all,I had a good time,no problems whatsoever. :) I just don't know why I was so paranoid for ;D maybe it was just me but anyway now that I know where the house is,she invited me over next Sunday to possibly watch a movie or 2 and maybe lunch or dinner.from what I've seen from the past 6 months that we've seen each other and she feels very comfortable with me,you could say now she is my new found GIRLFRIEND and proud of it.I love her so much.I'm just overjoyed about today.next week should be even better.I hope so. :)

I had a meeting at work that I had to get in on time for.  I left the house slightly later than I wanted but had caught up the time (more or less) by the time I dropped little one off at nursery.  On my way out of campus I was stopped by a workman for "only 5 minutes or so" whilst a big cherry picker truck was manouvered into position.  What a time to do it, just before 9.00!! 

I managed to take an alternative route and then got stuck behind someone for almost five minutes whilst they failed to turn right into the traffic.  They gave up and turned left so I managed to get out at the next available almost gap.  Nearly 15 minutes late by the time I dropped daughter at school and queued to get back to work.  Aaargh!

Grrrr they are morons. When they were working near the County Arms (an exceptionally busy junction) they only worked between 9 - 4.

The route I mainly use into work has had sewerage pipe renewal works going on for a couple of months now.  At least they seem to have sorted out the traffic light control to allow traffic from the side roads out now.  For a long time you had to dash out as the lights changed and hope you didn't bump into someone from the other direction doing the same.

My best friend is going in to the army soon, and by the time he has finished his initial training and has 2 weeks leave, i will have left the country. Needless to say i am a bit down.

I don't know what's going on with this relationship here but It seems kinda rocky at the moment. :( I just got Robin's e-mail yesterday and she said that It's not good to come over for a 2nd time without my parents permission OR their approval,Her Mother & Father still don't approve of our future together & they want me to have more ambition".give me a break here,I'm not marrying the girl,I'm just dating her for crying-out loud >:(.I never even knew I had a future with Robin and what the hell is this ambition they speak of? I have plenty of ambition myself. What I'm guessing is that they still want a guy with money,a college education and a full-time paying job.I thought after the first meeting with the parents turned out great but now they still don't know about Robin and I.Well,whatever becomes of this relationship,we'll just have to wait and see.sounds to me like she's been a spoiled brat half of her life with her parents paying for her most of the time.I guess it's better to just go out and not meet at the house but instead to go to a mall or something like that.I'll let you know what happens with this little soap opera of mine. ;D

I still don't know about this relationship. :( I still feel that they're trying(Her Parents and Robin)to change me.They say I'm not ambitious and not trying hard enough and that they're something"off"about you.I told Robin that I'm ambitious in my own way.another situation(s) that was brought up was about going back on medication & the way I dress.She says your blue jeans are way too big & baggy for you & should go for tight jeans.I told her tight jeans are way too small,It will hurt and I need something that is comfortable for me.I don't know about our future being boyfriend/girlfriend.I do love her and I know that love is a pretty strong word but she still wants something worked out with me about getting out of Supportive Employment and she feels that SE won't help you in the long run in trying to support you and getting an apartment.Anyway,that's all I have to say at the moment. ::)

I figured out how some members are getting so many posts. They post on spam boards , you know, ones you can post real quick, like "What Song Are You Listening To?" or "What Did You Just Eat?". And they're doing it in 30-60 second intervals. I've seen someone do 3 posts to the "What Song..." thing in 2 minutes. Don't get me wrong, I do it sometimes, but it's SO GODDAMN FREQUENT with some people. Meh, I don't care. Most of those people are already reaching their peaks.

I'm pretty good at singing a few of the songs I'd like to sing. But the others are hard. I don't know how they do it, these artists.

Some girl at school. She's happy around everyone else, but when it comes to me, she just gets all mad, doesn't talk and gets this scowl. She used to be so happy around me too. One time she just gave me a hug out of nowhere, then one day, this. I don't get it, and it's making me feel bad. I'm trying to stick to the "No more sheesh" policy, but it's hard.

That's a shame, man. I can't give you any advice about girls or women but I do know that you've got to be happy in yourself. Once you are happy, people sense it and are likewise.  :)
