I tried to figure that out, but when I clicked on her profile and clicked "Show the last posts of this person", it only came up with 52. Yet her profile says she has 4408?? Where are the other 4356? Could they be the posts from her old account?

My accent is not half as bad as from someone who comes from Birmingham. I was listening to a brummie coach driver once and I was torn between admiring the strength in his accent and LMAO!!!!  ;D

Unfortunately, I have never been to the States so only get my info from tv and that. I do notice the differences in the American accent (especially the deep south, New York etc . . .) but generally I can't tell one accent from another (even though they are probably apparrent if I was living there a while).

However, I am so glad I put that 'voice message thread' up a while back because I wouldn't have heard so many beautifully sounding woman! Incredible.  8)

American people are more likely to have trouble with the north of England (though I definitely have a liking for the Yorkshire accent). Newcastle is a tough accent to listen to wherever you are from.  :)

Thank you. People say I have a very articulate method of speaking... a clear voice and a clear choice of words. I don't often leave ambiguity in my statements, unless deliberate.

It depends.. here in Mizzou i can understand pretty much everything everybody says (most of the time) however.. when i was down in Georgia.. every third word that came from me was.. 'Huh?'

Really? Hm. It isn't as much gender as the accent. I can get all the words, even if sounds are different.. it's when people make up their own regional slang and talk really fast that I don't get it. Otherwise, it's all good.
